Stirring Waters and Transformative Journeys

At its heart, Lent is a six-week journey of transformation - and transformative journeys can be messy. During worship we will hear scripture, songs, and homilies that consider the theme of Stirring Waters as a metaphor for generative chaos.  Glendalers have many opportunities to “bless this mess,” as we travel with Jesus through the valley of the shadow of death into newness of life.  Be sure to pick up your set of lenten cards this season.  They'll be near the orders of worship as the season begins.  You are warmly welcomed as we wade through the water this season.
