Lauren joined Glendale as a Baptist transplant in 2016. She has a background in street outreach and housing advocacy with unhoused folks and various community organizing efforts. She earned an MTS from Vanderbilt Divinity School (2017) with an emphasis in pastoral care and social justice work, which led to a pastoral internship at Glendale. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Belmont University as a part of her call to healing ministries and community care. In her spare time she tends her garden, enjoys poetry, and dabbles in printmaking arts. She is married to a kind Presbyterian and mother to their sweet kiddos, Julian and August.
