Daryl Johnson
Daryl Johnson was called to serve as Glendale's Minister of Music on December 18, 2022. Daryl has led music in churches of various denominations: Episcopal, Cumberland Presbyterian, Christian Church (Disciples), United Methodist, and Baptist in Tennessee, Alabama, and Texas. He has led congregations both as Minister of Music and as accompanist for worship. He has taught vocal and choral techniques, music theory, music appreciation, and other coursework at the middle school, high school, and collegiate levels.
A 1995 graduate of Belmont University (Bachelor of Music/Music Education), Daryl then completed a Masters degree in Church Music from The Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2001. He went on to do additional post-graduate studies at the University of Alabama and Louisiana State University.
