Off the Boat

Well, we are now seasoned (if novice) sailor-folk! And there's a whole new slate of marvels and wonders that we have experienced in the summer's second international foray. Our hosts on the sailboat, Miel and Sharon, allowed us enough hours per day in the salt water that we're sufficiently pickled--and oh, the undersea sights we saw! (We decided together that swimming things which are larger than the smallest member of your party are universally creepy. As well as things that wear their defense mechanisms on the outside.)
We are now brining ourselves in the cool, fresh water of the Smokies once more, floating Deep Creek on inner tubes by day and watching the sun set from the porch of Sabbath House by evening. We have missed you all more than we will ever be able to express. We are grateful to you all more than we will ever be able to express. It will be ever so good to reconnect next week and swap stories about our summers' experiences.
Much love and peace to you~
