Wonder: Check
5/26/2010

Lara and I left Nashville Tuesday at 4:30. By the time we reached Knoxville, we had seen eleven rainbows. ELEVEN. 3 of them were double. Are you kidding me?? It was a nice out-of-the-starting-gate reminder that wonder does not have a location in space--can't be assigned a spot on the map; nor does it have a location in time--neither sunrise nor sunset. It's experienced in unexpected ways, large and small. And every now and then, it is ridiculously exhibitionistic. (Though I've gotta say, the sunrise over the ridge at Sabbath House today, accompanied by a spectacular avian choir, was pretty wonder-full, too.)

Your story about seeing rainbows on your first day out seems a bit more than coincidental. I LOVE it! As I read, I had this image of you driving through several "welcome" arches.
"Welcome to this wonder-full adventure"
"Get ready to be amazed"
"You are entering a time of renewal"
"Be ready for ANYTHING"
"Child-like hearts are a bonus"
.
.
Eleven!! I can't even think of that many...
Be blessed, be amazed, be loved,
JT
Love,
Thomas
