Wonder: Check

5/26/2010
Sunrise at Sabbath House

Lara and I left Nashville Tuesday at 4:30.  By the time we reached Knoxville, we had seen eleven rainbows.  ELEVEN.  3 of them were double.  Are you kidding me??  It was a nice out-of-the-starting-gate reminder that wonder does not have a location in space--can't be assigned a spot on the map; nor does it have a location in time--neither sunrise nor sunset.  It's experienced in unexpected ways, large and small.  And every now and then, it is ridiculously exhibitionistic.  (Though I've gotta say, the sunrise over the ridge at Sabbath House today, accompanied by a spectacular avian choir, was pretty wonder-full, too.)

    Blessings Abound
    Dear friends,
Your story about seeing rainbows on your first day out seems a bit more than coincidental. I LOVE it! As I read, I had this image of you driving through several "welcome" arches.
    "Welcome to this wonder-full adventure"
    "Get ready to be amazed"
"You are entering a time of renewal"
    "Be ready for ANYTHING"
    "Child-like hearts are a bonus"
    .
    .
Eleven!! I can't even think of that many...

Be blessed, be amazed, be loved,

    JT

    Rainbows over Glendale last night
We're sharing in your wonder with our own rainbows last night, right after the banana split fest! Missing you already and wishing you deep peace in your sojourn.

    Love,
    Thomas

    Rainbows
How exciting! I'll bet they were there just for you and Lara. Eleven is amazing and some people never see even one double.

    Rainbonic Sunset in Botswana
Hey you guys, I saw an incredible sunset in Botswana tonight that looked like a rainbow and I was filled with wonder. This spirit stuff is as thick as the butter everyone eats on their sandwiches here. I wish you well, Love, Andy
