Palm Sunday Retreat with Roberta Bondi
Join us for a daylong Palm Sunday retreat on March 20, 2106 with Roberta Bondi, hosted by Glendale Baptist Church and The Academy for Spiritual Formation. Begin Holy Week grounded in love as Roberta Bondi leads us through a day of prayer, study, and reflection on the teachings of the desert mothers and fathers.

Schedule for the day:
9 to 10:15 am - Morning Prayer and Conversation with Roberta Bondi (light breakfast snacks served)
10:30 am - Worship at Glendale Baptist Church with Roberta Bondi preaching
2 pm - Optional Silent Reflection (Glendale will provide space for you to write, reflect, draw, pray, meditate on the day's teachings.)
3 to 5 pm - Plenary with Roberta Bondi, ending with special evening prayer service, "Grounded in Love," co-written by Don Schlosser and Claire McKeever-Burgett

About Roberta Bondi
Roberta Bondi is a writer, speaker, teacher and retreat leader. Professor Emerita of Church History at Candler School of Theology, Emory University, Roberta as dedicated her life to the study of the desert mothers and fathers and their understanding of an integrated spiritual life. She is a longtime faculty member of The Upper Room's Academy of Spiritual Formation and is a weaver and spinner who is interested in women's work with fiber through the ages.
