You're invited to participate in an e-course on Practicing Spirituality with Children!  Are you interested in fostering spirituality in the children in your life?  How do children express their spirituality? And what can we do to foster their growth?  

 

If you're intrigued by the thought of fostering spirituality with children, you're invited to participate with us!  Each week participants will receive two emails that contain a short thought on children's spirituality. The short reflection is followed by a 'practice' suggestion, something you can do with children or in honor of your own inner child.  

 

The cost for the course is $29.95; this cost is for the 20 weeks of the course.  Participants will pay Glendale Baptist Church so that we can register as a group and everyone can receive the lessons concurrently. We will have 2 face-to-face gatherings, one at the beginning and one at the end of the course.  This will allow us to see who else is participating in the e-course and to share a bit about our expectations.  Once we know who is participating, we will plan this time to get together (maybe for dinner, or coffee)

When: Participants will receive 2 emails each week that will include a meditative thought and a way to 'practice' spirituality with children.  We will begin the last week of February and will continue for 20 weeks.

 

Where: You will receive the emails at home, work, etc.

Other:  Amy D-W will set up "Glendale Practicing Spirituality with Children" blog.  This will allow participants to discuss and interact concerning lessons that were inspiring or challenging with the other participants.
