Last evening, our sabbatical summer officially came to a close--and in such a spectacular way!!  The "docking" party at Percy Priest Lake beautifully wrapped up what began with the "launching" party in May.  Friends and family gathered at the loveliest spot; those so inclined swam and splashed and jumped off the inflatables.  Others peppered the volleyball around, visited with one another, sat at picnic tables in the nice breeze, shared sub sandwiches and cupcakes, and enjoyed being together.  

Following the most remarkable thunderstorm, a rainbow lit right in our space, arcing from the grass just on one side of the shelter up and over to the grass on the other side.  I've never seen anybody actually walking in a rainbow before!  We took it as a cosmic demonstration of the marvels and wonders of the summer that we have experienced.

There simply are not words to thank all of you for the myriad ways that you have contributed to this journey.  Know of our deep appreciation, our joy to share these friendships,  and our love.  And keep in touch!  Wonders never cease!
