Glendale Receives Travel License!
Glendale Baptist Church got a license to travel to Cuba on Monday, March 30, 2009. The license letter was issued by the US Department of the Treasury which regulates all travel to Cuba.
Glendale youth’s PeaceJam project for this year is to promote understanding between American and Cuban youth through our church partnership with the Alberto J Diaz Baptist Church (La Iglesia Bautista Alberto J. Diaz) in Santa Clara, Cuba. The youth will be planning a trip to visit Cuba this summer.
We can now resume direct contact through travel with our partner church in Cuba after our last visit in the summer of 2006.
