Linda Ray Miller is a native Texan and is the daughter, granddaughter, and niece of Baptist pastors. She has a degree in Music Education from Howard Payne University, and in Religious Education from Perkins School of Theology. She has been a band director, music teacher, and was for many years, a minister in the United Methodist Church. She currently makes her home with her partner, MAT (Margaret Ann Trotter), and two cats. She is the proud mother of Kevin and his wife Mary Beth, both of Austin, Texas, and Margaret, of New York.
