On February 5 at 9:30 AM following our First Sunday Breakfast, author Larry Stone will join us in the Fellowship Hall to share a PowerPoint presentation and sign copies of his book, “The Story of the Bible”.  Mr. Stone has published and edited more than a dozen New York Times bestsellers.  He built the successful book division of Thomas Nelson Publishers, and then co-founded Rutledge Hill Press, the publisher of “Life’s Little Instruction Book”.
A graduate of Moody Bible Institute and University of Iowa, Larry has studied at the NYU Graduate School of Business Administration, taught writing seminars in Africa, America, and the Caribbean, and was recently executive director of KidShape, a non-profit that helps overweight children and their families become healthier.  He is currently testing the use of e-readers in a pastor training program in Africa with the goal of providing e-Books to 13,000 students in the program.  Larry and his wife Lois live in Nashville and in Kattskill Bay, NY, where they are active in local Presbyterian Churches.
